HeathBridge River Lodge, provides self catering accommodation in two cottages. Situated in Loch Vaal with Vaal River views from the property stretching across the Loch. Our 2 self-catering cottages are located on a private home. All water is navigable and safe to ski and swim in. This is a nice way to get away. The self catering Cottage: Sleeps 6 and comprises of: A Beautiful Airy Garden Cottage, 30 meters from the Vaal River's edge set in a sun filled garden. 2 separate bedrooms. 1x Queen bed in the Main bedroom. 1x King bed (can be made into 2x singles) in the 2nd bedroom. A sleeper couch in a semi-private room. 1x Bathroom, which is separate from both bedrooms, has a shower and bath. Bath towels provided. The self catering Boathouse: Sleeps 4. Light airy cottage at the end of this private garden right on the Vaal River's edge. 1x King size bed in a studio style, so open to the lounge, kitchen and beautiful uninterrupted Vaal River views. 1x Queen size bed in a private bedroom. 1x compact Bathroom with shower, toilet and basin. Bath towels provided. These cottages are situated in the garden of a private residence, so it is a great place for boating, fishing, or just to relax and soak in the surroundings for your visit. Boat launching for both units is available, but should be specified and arranged when booking to avoid disappointment. If you wish to swim in the Vaal River, please bring own swimming towels.

Located on the banks of the Vaal River, with full access, the cottage is fully equipped and air-conditioned, ideal for boating / water-sports enthusiasts. Our self catering cottage accommodation comprises of 2 Bedrooms: one with double bed and the other 2 single beds. Lounge has pull-out sleeper couch ideal for 2 children. 1 bathroom with shower/toilet/hand basin. Fully fitted kitchen. Lapa with Braai facilities. 3 acres of park-like mown lawn. Accommodation is: Self-Catering. Sleeps up to six - Max. 4 Adults & 2 Children. We offer DStv. We have 54km of uninterrupted water for your boating and water sports. Boat launching. Under cover boat house. And obviously with all this water... fishing, fishing... fishing! WE also offer the following, by arrangement: Water-skiing - includes ski boat, Jet ski rides, Sundown cruises on a luxury cruiser. River Buoys offers visitors self catering accommodation on the Vaal River. Located at Lochvaal near Vanderbijlpark in southern Gauteng, this self catering cottage with uninterrupted views of the Vaal River across manicured lawns is the ideal spot for fishing or launching your boat. Our self catering cottage is nestled amongst the trees on the banks of the Vaal River just one hour drive from Johannesburg. We are situated approximately 5km up from the Barrage on the widest part of the river. This self catering cottage has two beautifully decorated bedrooms en suite, fully equipped kitchenette and outside fully enclosed patio containing the lounge and dining area, a Weber is available for braaing. Each room has amazing views of the Vaal River. The cottage is approximately 80m from the water's edge and you will have use of our own private island. Ideally suited for boating enthusiasts, those who love to fish and nature lovers who love bird watching. There are resident owls that land on the lawn area regularly as well as the beautiful sound of fish eagles. We have launching on site for boats or jet ski's. Should you wish to visit historical Parys and browse through different shops from antiques, art, knick-knacks and wonderful coffee shops, this will take a 35 minute drive into town. Approximately 10kms from the cottage is the Vaal Mall which has all the shops you will find at most malls. All you require to bring is your food and drinks, umbrellas, deck chairs, hats, swimming towels, sun tan lotion, mosquito repellent, and sports equipment for a great self catering weekend on the Vaal River.

Terms & Conditions
- The property (you) must offer the 15% saving to all verified members
- Verification is done automatically at the time of an enquiry. It is at the property’s discretion whether to offer the saving for a telephonic enquiry. (As you have no means to verify the membership number, it is advisable to get them to do a formal enquiry so they can be verified).
- If the property is currently running a "Special" greater than 15% then the "Special" price will apply. (No further savings needs to be offered). EXCEPT in the case where the "Special" is lower than 15%. In that case the 15% will apply.
Example: A property offering a 10% discount, must offer an additional 5% discount to valid members - so they get a total 15% saving. - The property must offer valid members the saving all year round. (Properties that pick and chose in which seasons to participate run the risk of being removed from the programme completely. Allowing selective participation defeats the integrity of this initiative).
- The property must not inflate the price before the 15% is applied. Prices displayed should be the rack rate. (The official or advertised price of a room).
- The property must honour any bookings made while the property was participating as a $elect Stays property.
- The property must honour the agreement and the spirit in which the initiative is designed to benefit local tourism.
