Visit Sterkfontein Caves and the Maropeng World Heritage Site in the Cradle of Humankind, or the Hartebeesport Dam, which makes a nice day outing from the property. Den's View Garden Flat: A spacious bedroom (king-size bed), lounge/dining area with a kitchenette all in one with a 180 degree view onto nature. Braai or make your camp fire, have a romantic dinner under the stars, or book at Mokoya Lodge Sweet Thyme restaurant for a gourmet meal. We are located just off the R560 between Skeerpoort and Hekpoort approximately one hour from Sandton, Pretoria and Rustenburg.

Located near Maanhaarrand at the foot of the Magaliesburg mountains nestled on a working farm with all the domestic animals you haven't seen for years. Here you'll experience farm life and the wonderful outdoors. We also have a pool with a great view of the animals and the Magaliesburg mountain range. If you are ready for a fun filled gathering of friends and family or a relaxed weekend away Ma-Ria's Farmhouse is just for you! This house is suitable for family and friends who do not mind sharing and enjoy being close to each other, yet all the rooms are private. The kitchen is fully equipped for a self catering stay and there is more than enough space for some to watch TV in the lounge and the other guests to enjoy the entertainment area, all leading onto the courtyard which includes a braai area and large garden. We also have a self catering garden flat sleeping an additional 4 people in 2 bedrooms to help if your group are up to 17 people. The garden flat has a bathroom with bath and shower and the kitchen is fully equipped with cutlery and crockery for 6 guests, stove including oven, microwave, kettle, toaster and fridge. You just bring you own food and drinks, coffee and milk and you will have all as if you are staying in your own little home away from home. There is a common pool 50m away from the house with a great view of the mountain range, guest must bring their own swimming towels. Keen mountain biker? There is approximately 50km of gravel road surrounding our farm.

Nullarbor Cottages are nestled in the rocky arms of the Witwatersrand Mountains on a private farm and provide an ideal quiet and romantic country getaway. We are situated approximately 4km from the village of Magaliesburg with 1.2km of sand road to access the venue with views created for connoisseurs. There are 10 beautifully equipped timber self catering cottages and brick cottages with 3 sparkling swimming pools. Thatched lapas for shady retreat on hot summer days. These pools are easily accessible to all self catering cottages. Cottages have King or Queen size beds, own bathroom, patio, private braai area, DSTV, fully fitted kitchen and open log fireplaces in all the units. Corner Jet baths in 7 of the cottages and all have indoor or beautiful rock outdoor showers. Some of the self catering cottages have fully enclosed garden areas and Nullarbor now provides pet owners the opportunity to enjoy their holiday with their lovable (well-behaved) pets. We have lovely safe off-leash walking trails on our property as well as the right to use neighbouring farms. We love all animals and have quite a few of our own. Lush and leafy gardens surround the cottages and for the Ornithologists amongst us - abundant bird life will keep you well entertained. Other activities include walks into the mountains, bike trails, visiting the attractions of the Magaliesburg Meander or exploring the wonders of the Cradle of Humankind.

The small village of Magaliesburg is situated some 80 km from Johannesburg and Pretoria and is nestled at the foot of the Magaliesberg range of mountains. The mountain range has seen the establishment of numerous hotels, guest houses and resorts along its entire length.
