Queenswood is a quiet, secure and centrally situated suburb in Pretoria. It is conveniently close to shopping malls and entertainment facilities.
Attractions:
The whole family will enjoy a day out to the Pioneer Museum in Silverton where you will experience the way of life of the farmers back in the 1800's when they used to bake bread, make candles, grind wheat, roast coffee and you can try your hand at milking. The gardens are also a peaceful area to enjoy a family picnic. The sand-stone Union Building which was completed in 1913 is most recognised in South Africa for the symbolic two wings of the buildling which represents the unity of the two cultures achieved since the Anglo Boer War. It is not open to the public but is admired by many visitors from the surrounding gardens. There is a nearby golf course is you want to enjoy a round of 18 holes or just hit a few practice balls to keep your swing in shape while on holiday. The South African State Theatre has something for the whole family from ballets, dramas, cabarets and children's theatre and should not be missed while visiting Queenswood.

Terms & Conditions
- The property (you) must offer the 15% saving to all verified members
- Verification is done automatically at the time of an enquiry. It is at the property’s discretion whether to offer the saving for a telephonic enquiry. (As you have no means to verify the membership number, it is advisable to get them to do a formal enquiry so they can be verified).
- If the property is currently running a "Special" greater than 15% then the "Special" price will apply. (No further savings needs to be offered). EXCEPT in the case where the "Special" is lower than 15%. In that case the 15% will apply.
Example: A property offering a 10% discount, must offer an additional 5% discount to valid members - so they get a total 15% saving. - The property must offer valid members the saving all year round. (Properties that pick and chose in which seasons to participate run the risk of being removed from the programme completely. Allowing selective participation defeats the integrity of this initiative).
- The property must not inflate the price before the 15% is applied. Prices displayed should be the rack rate. (The official or advertised price of a room).
- The property must honour any bookings made while the property was participating as a $elect Stays property.
- The property must honour the agreement and the spirit in which the initiative is designed to benefit local tourism.
